A few posts ago I talked about workspace tables and featured some ideas that I liked. I also included the kitchen buffet that I transformed. The only missing feature was the knobs. Since that post, my husband actually spotted some cool hardware/knobs at Hobby Lobby.
The photo below shows what we chose. Now my table is complete, for the moment. I still really like the workspace table I featured with the bookcases on the sides. You can find it here.
Also included in the photos is a nightstand I updated. The knob is from Anthropologie. They also have some great hardware.
Have you heard of Pinterest? I discovered this workspace table there and then visited the blog of Girl Inspired. The table is modeled after a Pottery Barn table.

Isn’t this a great idea? I love the shelving on the sides and then the nice big workspace on top. This is a project I would like to accomplish after our next move. Currently, I am using an old buffet table that I have painted white and still need to add new nobs.

The photo below is what inspired me to alter the buffet table. I really like the stenciling, but am not sure I want it for the top of my art workspace. The stenciling would quickly be ruined. I think metal or plexiglass/glass tops are the best surface for art workspaces, do you agree?
