Kansas City Public Library is the place for book lovers. I posted about wanting to visit the Central Library and I finally did last week. It is a beautiful library. The fifth floor has an open roof top where you can see the city and also play a round of chess with human size chess pieces.
When I first saw photos of the library, I thought the walls were faux books and that is what attracted me and why I chose to visit the Central Library Branch. It turns out the parking garage is designed with faux books. The steps to the garage are stacked cement books. It is so incredibly cool. They are metal and painted with different spine covers. Bibliophiles, you will love this!

If you are in the Kansas City area be sure to visit the Central Library Branch. It is in the Central Business District and close to the Power and Light District.
I absolutely love libraries and am a total bibliophile. The library is the first place I seek out in a new place. What I cannot believe is that the coolest library is so incredibly close to me and I have never been there.
While helping my son with a project I saw photographs of the Kansas City, Missouri library. It looks amazing! This is my next adventure and I am so excited. Have you been to this library or heard of it?
